Statement Botanical Trees

A beautiful tree changes a room. It adds height, softens hard corners and makes a space feel finished.

I've chosen each of these for its realism, from natural-trunk olives and towering ficus to palms and flowering jacaranda. Many carry fire-retardant ratings for hotels, restaurants, offices and public spaces.

Artificial trees that make a statement

The best artificial trees are convincing from the floor to the canopy. Several in this collection are built on natural trunks, with leaves that vary in size, colour and angle just as they do on a living tree. Others, like the jacaranda and bougainvillea, bring a burst of colour that no indoor tree could ever sustain.

Fire-retardant trees for commercial spaces

For hotels, restaurants, bars, offices and shopping centres, fire performance matters. Many of the trees here are fire retardant, marked FR, FR-S1 or FireSilx in their names. Always check the requirements for your own premises, and if you're specifying for a project, talk to me and I'll help you choose. You can read more in my guide to fire-retardant artificial plants.

Getting the size right

Sizes here run from under a metre to five metres tall. Measure your ceiling height and leave some breathing room above the canopy, then think about spread as well as height. Some of the larger trees arrive in sections and need a little assembly, and each product page explains exactly what to expect.

Your questions, answered

Are these artificial trees fire retardant?

Many are. Look for FR, FR-S1 or FireSilx in the product name, and check the details on each product page. Always confirm the fire-performance requirements for your own venue.

Do the trees come with a planter?

Some do and some arrive in a simple nursery pot, ready for a planter of your choice. Each product page says which.

Can I use these trees outdoors?

These trees are designed for indoor use. For terraces, entrances and gardens, have a look at my exterior botanicals.

Can you help with a larger project?

Yes. For hotels, restaurants and offices I design complete planting schemes. Tell me about your space.
