Real Touch Orchids

Nothing brings calm to a room quite like an orchid. Their smooth, gently waxy petals suit real-touch materials so beautifully that guests reach out to touch them, just to be sure. You can see the petals up close in my gallery.

Every arrangement here is created in my West Midlands faux floral design studio, stem by stem, and finished in silver, glass, marble, stone or ceramic. Calm, sculptural and utterly unreal.

Luxury artificial orchids, designed in my studio

Phalaenopsis orchids are made for real touch. Their graceful arching stems and soft, waxy petals are the hardest faux flower to tell from the living plant, especially once they're set the way nature intended, with moss, roots and glossy leaves at the base.

I design every orchid arrangement in this collection myself. I shape each stem so the blooms fall naturally, turn the flowers gently towards the light and choose a vessel that finishes the piece properly, from polished silver champagne coolers to wide glass cylinders and stone planters.

Where orchids look their best

At home, they're perfect on a console, a sideboard or the end of a coffee table. In hospitality, they're the classic choice for reception desks, hotel lobbies and restaurant tables, because they look calm and expensive from every angle. And unlike living orchids, they're just as happy in a windowless bathroom or a dark hallway.

Choosing the right size

For a coffee table, go long and low, like an orchid trough under 30cm tall, so conversation flows over the top. For a console or sideboard, something between 65cm and 85cm gives presence without overpowering the space. For a statement in a hallway or lobby, choose one of the large silver cooler arrangements. I've shared more on choosing by spot in the best luxury artificial flowers for living room decor.

Your questions, answered

Do artificial orchids look real?

Real-touch Phalaenopsis orchids are the most convincing faux flower there is. Their smooth petals suit the material perfectly, and when they're arranged with moss, roots and natural leaves, most people can't tell until they touch them.

Can I have an orchid arrangement in a different colour or vessel?

Often, yes. Many of my orchid designs can be made in a different colour, size or vessel. Tell me what you have in mind and I'll let you know what's possible.

How do I look after artificial orchids?

Every few weeks, whisk away dust with a soft make-up brush or a hairdryer on its cool setting, and keep the arrangement out of strong, direct sunlight. That's all.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery is free across the UK. Each arrangement is made to order, and the delivery time is shown on every product page.
