Realistic artificial flowers for business

Real-touch faux floral arrangements and installations for hotels, restaurants, bars and offices, designed in my studio to stand up to a close look every day of the year. And custom pieces for your home, too.

"If a guest has to touch a petal to be sure, I've done my job."

A note from Sharon

Artificial flowers have a reputation, and I understand why. Stiff stems, flat colour and a glossy sheen give the game away from across a room. In a hotel lobby or a restaurant, that's the first thing a guest notices.

Realistic artificial flowers are a different thing entirely. I choose every stem in my faux floral studio for how it feels, how its colour shades from petal to centre and how it moves, then arrange each piece so it sits the way fresh flowers would. The result looks fresh on day one and on day one thousand.

Most of my work is for businesses, from a single reception arrangement to a full installation. I still design pieces for homes, and you'll find those further down.

For business

Realistic faux florals for every kind of venue.

Your florals are seen up close by guests, clients and staff every single day. Realistic artificial flowers give you the colour and calm of fresh arrangements all year, with no weekly delivery and no wilting by Thursday. I design, supply and install, with fire-retardant options for public spaces.

What makes them realistic

Four details that fool the eye.

I.

Real-touch petals

Soft, slightly cool petals with the give and natural curl of a fresh bloom.

II.

True colour

Tones that shade gently across each petal and read true in daylight and lamplight.

III.

Natural variation

Blooms at different stages, stems at different angles and leaves of different sizes, just as nature grows them.

IV.

Considered design

Every piece arranged to sit and fall naturally in its vessel, finished with moss or stone.

Buying guide

How to tell if artificial flowers will look realistic.

Whether you're buying from me or anyone else, these are the checks I'd make before you commit. There's more in my full guide.

  1. Touch a petalIt should feel soft and slightly cool, with some give. A hard or papery feel is a giveaway.
  2. Look at the colourReal petals shade from tip to centre. One flat colour across the bloom reads as artificial.
  3. Check the sheenFresh flowers are matte or softly satin. A glossy surface catches the light and the eye.
  4. Look for variationOpen blooms, half-open buds and leaves of different sizes make an arrangement believable.
  5. See it arrangedThe same stems can look real or fake depending on how they're placed. Ask to see finished pieces in real spaces.

Your colours, your size, even your own vase.

The same realistic artificial flowers I design for hotels make beautiful pieces for home. Tell me about the space, whether it's a dining table, a hallway console or an empty fireplace, and I'll design an arrangement to suit it.

  • Sized to fit your table, console, mantel or window
  • Colours chosen to match your scheme
  • Arranged in one of my vessels, or a vase you already love
  • An in-home design visit, if you'd like me to see the room

Good to know

Realistic artificial flowers, answered.

Do artificial flowers look realistic?

The best ones do, and they're the only ones I work with. Real-touch petals, true-to-life colour and a natural arrangement are what make the difference. Guests often only realise they're faux when they reach out to touch them. You can see them up close in my gallery.

What makes artificial flowers look real?

Four things: the material of the petal, colour that shades gently across each bloom, stems and leaves with natural weight and variation, and an arrangement that sits the way fresh flowers would in the vessel. A beautiful stem arranged stiffly still looks artificial, so the design matters as much as the flower.

Are realistic artificial flowers suitable for hotels and public spaces?

Yes. They're ideal for lobbies, restaurants, bars, offices and corridors where fresh flowers struggle or need replacing every week. For public spaces I can supply fire-retardant options, and I install larger schemes for you.

How do I keep artificial flowers looking realistic?

A gentle dust every few weeks and keeping them out of strong direct sunlight keeps the colour true. For businesses I also offer a seasonal refresh service, so your florals change with the seasons and always look their best.

Can you design realistic artificial flowers for my home?

Of course. I design custom commissions sized for your table, console or fireplace, in your colours and, if you like, your own vase. I can also visit your home and design the arrangement with you, in the room it will live.
